Triumph’s
classic parallel-twin is a rolling homage to simplicity of design. The reborn
Bonneville is, however, no mere copy of the most famous Triumph model in
history. Faithful reproduction of the original Bonneville’s archetypal British
design is unquestioned, but the contemporary engineering practices and attention
to detail employed in Triumph’s Hinckley factory ensure this is a thoroughly
modern machine. Progressive brakes, pulsed air injection and a sweet-handling
chassis mix harmoniously with traditional Bonneville styling touches. Peashooter
exhausts, chromed instruments and the faithful rendition of the Bonneville’s
original engine case design maintain a direct lineage to Triumph’s most
evocative model. Single color paint schemes, in Jet Black or Cardinal Red,
finish off the look of this instant modern classic.
