The Thunderbird Sport blends traditional lines, impressive three-cylinder muscle and sophisticated, adjustable suspension in a classic, yet powerful, package.
It's DOHC, 885cc, liquid-cooled engine delivers a healthy 82bhp with a fat roll of torque - 56ft.lbf - for the rider to play with. Three 36mm flat slide carbs feed the engine while the peashooter pipes channel the distinctive triple cylinder rumble.
The T´bird Sport has developed a strong following since its launch in ´98, thanks to its striking looks and easy-going nature. The strong chassis makes for a fast-steering yet stable ride out on the open road, while its well-balanced nature means only a gentle touch is needed at low speeds. Twin disc front brakes and single disc rear, both with twin-piston calipers, ensure effective stopping abilities.
